Ms. Metz
My name is Ms. Metz and I am a 2/3 combination teacher at Workman Elementary School. I have worked for HLPUSD for the last 9 years at Wing Lane Elementary School and Workman Elementary School. I received my B.A. in Dance from the University of California, Irvine where I was an ArtsBridge Scholar. I conducted research for the Dean of the School of the Arts in 2nd and 3rd grade classes in Orange County, integrating movement while teaching grade level content standards. My passion for integrating the arts into education started during this experience. After graduation I went back to UCI and earned my teaching credential. In 2008, I began attending Cal State Fullerton to earn my M.S. in Educational Leadership along with my administrative credential. I have high academic standards, but love to make learning exciting!
In my free time I love to exercise, dance, travel, go to the beach, or spend quality time with friends, family, or my fur baby!
