Susana Mendoza

Hello, I am Susana Mendoza and I've taught at Workman Elementary for 12 years.  I teach 1st grade and I've had the pleasure of also teaching kindergarten and third grade. Before coming to HLPUSD I was an educational aide for 5 years at LAUSD and I was a substitute teacher at Rowland Unified for 1 year.  I earned my B.A. from California State University Los Angeles and my Masters in Education degree from Azusa Pacific University.  My love of teaching began when I worked as an aide while attending college.  I immediately knew I had to have my own classroom.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and going for walks with my 3 children.
