We are excited to begin our See’s Candies fundraiser starting January 12-25. The majority of the proceeds will go to enriching opportunities for students such as Field Trips, Extra Curricular activities and access to more classroom resources. Since all of the students will benefit from this fundraiser, we greatly appreciate everyone’s participation. Feel free to take orders from friends, relatives, neighbors and coworkers.


Fundraiser Safety Tips

We encourage student safety during our fundraising activity. Here are some tips to keep your student safe:

  • Take your parent with you-Never Sell Alone!
  • Never enter someone’s home
  • Never carry large amounts of cash

Remember to be polite and always thank your supporters.


Student Materials

Students will receive a flyer with See’s Candies Items, a Pre-Sell Form for orders and a collection envelope. All items must be turned in by January 25th to student’s teacher.

Student and Class Prizes

Top Selling Students will receive a gift card!

  • 1st place: $50 AMC Dinner & a movie gift card
  • 2nd place: $25 Krispy Cream gift card
  • 3rd place: $20 Cold Stone gift card

Classes with 100% participation will have a Pizza Party! TOP Selling class Ice Cream Party!!!

Important Dates and Information:

  • Fundraiser Starts: January 12-25
  • Collect money from your supporters when they order. CASH ONLY
  • Verify order quantities and money collected. Place money in the collection envelope
  • ALL Orders are due January 25th and will ONLY be collected until January 25th. Orders will arrive prior to February 14th! PLEASE TURN IN ALL ORDERS AND MONEY TO YOUR TEACHER!

Greetings! The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District is surveying parents, staff members, and community members to learn more about your perceptions and experiences with HLPUSD. Specifically, we hope to gather feedback on the district’s Local Control and Accountability (LCAP) goals, such as current performance, areas for improvement, and future goals. ** LCAP Survey closes January 31, 2018. **

HLPUSD has partnered with Hanover Research to administer and analyze this survey. Hanover Research is an independent market research firm based in Washington, D.C., and is in no way affiliated with any other entity or organization. Your responses are completely anonymous and will be kept strictly confidential, so please be as open and honest as possible. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Come join us for our first Computer Science Immersion Epic Build Showcase on Tuesday December 5 at 8:30 a.m.

Student key note speakers will introduce the program at 8:30 a.m. The showcase will begin at 8:50 and conclude at 9:50. We are excited for you to come visit the school to see what our students have created this trimester!

Our Workman Wolverines and Staff will be walking on November 16th in our Workman Turkey Trot!  Student and Staff will be walking to raise $8000 to fund programs and activities for our school!  To achieve this goal, we need every family to participate! All of the money raised goes directly to our students and pays for enriching opportunities such as Field Trips, Extra-Curricular Activities, and access to more in class resources.


The Walk-a-Thon will be held on campus for Students and Staff the morning of November 16th.




Our school goal is $8000!!


◊ The Classroom that collects the most donations will win

◊ The teacher whose classroom collects the most donations will receive a $10 Starbucks Gift Card

Join us this Halloween Night for some tricks and a lot of treats at our Trunk-O-Treat celebration!

Help us make our Trunk-O-Treat possible! In order to make this happen we need at least 15 volunteers to decorate the trunks of their vehicles and are ready for a fun filled celebration for our kids on October 31st!
